oakland loses ninth in a row

The Oakland Athletics are in the process of losing their ninth game in a row, down 10-4 to the last place Texas Rangers. This came directly on the heels of a pair of bets I made on them. I bet on them to finish ahead of the Mariners (at 1-1), and I bet on them to win the World Series (at 50-1). Since then, they are 0-9 and failed to score more than 3 runs in the first eight of those games. Ridiculous. Beane should trade everyone whose contract is going to expire and get whatever he can. This season is over, and I don't say that very easily.
